This man Earn broke as hell. How you gone go out on a date with no money? Umm mhmm these Atlanta dudes trifling. But Ok, Paper Boi might really be about that life tho.
Earn tries to order a kid's meal, but fails because of his age, forcing him to lie about about getting a cup of water so he can get an orange soda. While meeting Paper Boi and Darius, they brainstorm ways of getting money. at his house, Earn and Van discuss the reason he got locked up for a shooting. Earn apologizes for being inconsiderate and asks her out to dinner. Van refuses and he asks to watch her eat dinner. While Van is getting ready for sleep, Earn smells her armpits. When he wakes up the next morning, he figures that his bank account is at least $92. Swift later tells him to take Van out on a date. Earn agrees and puts a champagne in the refrigerator. Meanwhile, as they prepare for a drug deal, Paper Boi and Darius converse about their guns and what women call them. Darius later cuffs himself to the briefcase, but forgets the key. While waiting at a gas station, the driver of a black truck tells them that the deal is going down in the forest. There, they meet the Migos (a fictionalized version of the rap group). Before it can start, however, Offset throws a guy out of an RV and kicks him. Quavo later throws the guy some clothes and tells him that he can let him go, in order to shoot him with a rifle. Meanwhile, at a seafood restaurant, Earn and Van have a relatively good time until Earn confronts their waiter for her up-selling, knowing he's short on money. After dinner, Earn asks for a check, which has more than less. He later calls Alfred asking to add $20 to his account. Paper Boi, Darius, and the Migos settle the deal until Darius tells them that he is stuck to the briefcase. Later, Earn and Van return from their date, with her being angry at him. Earn later gives Van some advice, which she thinks is "some dumb-ass shit".
